GEORGE HARRISON-SOMEWHERE IN ENGLAND(1981)/DARK HORSE(US)/DHK3492 NM(-)/NM+
The cover looks brand new at 1st glance, but does show some very light surface/edge/corner wear...there is a very minor crunch on the bottom slot corner and a gold stamped PROMO indicator on the front.
The vinyl has some very wispy "phantom" scuffs that are visible when held to the light....and it was while doing this that I observed the remarkable effect caused by the two different sources of light, as demonstrated in the item picture. The album plays like brand new, an easy 9.5+.
With original inner lyric sleeve.
I had originally bought this album, knowing that it was pressed on clear red vinyl...altho' the color is so dark as to appear as normal black, unless it is held to a light (regular incandescent or sunlight)...the red right side pic.
My office is lit by energy saving lighting, so it wasn't too long before I noticed the difference in the color of the vinyl when held to a fluorescent light fixture!...green left side pic.
