Description

GEORGE WALLINGTON QUINTET AT THE BOHEMIA - Progressive PLP 1001 - 1st MONO Pressing RVG VG+ Vinyl LP

ONE OF THE MOST RARE AND SOUGHT AFTER JAZZ RECORDS IN THE WORLD. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1st MONO PRESSING FROM 1955 of the George Wallington Quintet At The Bohemia on Progressive.

The disc has the RVG , 2208-A/-B, 22G, F90P - 8604-1 and 8605-1 etched on the dead wax. Deep Grooved on both sides. This is the genuine article. MEGA RARE 100% AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING.

This record is from our personal collection. Very well maintained.

*Because our clients are mostly jazz collectors and connoisseurs, as we are, we made it our policy to only sell vinyl that we grade in VERY GOOD (VG) condition or better.

Record Grade = Very well maintained. The vinyl is in beautiful condition. The vinyl has some visible scratches that have little to no effect. Just listened to both sides of the whole album myself tonight and it plays wonderful, barely any surface noise. Occasional pops from normal use and age. Amazing condition and quality. It is difficult to find an original first pressing of this rare vintage jazz record for sale anywhere, so to get one in such great condition is a tremendous opportunity. (see pictures)

Jacket Grade = Shiny, clean, well maintained. No stains. 3 inches of clear tape on bottom middle. Clear tape along corners of jacket entry points to prevent splitting from removing and returning album to jacket. In pencil, the numbers 3/9 are handwritten in top left rear corner. It is a beautiful jacket for a 60 year old album. It comes with the original 1955 inner sleeve. (see pictures)
