Mega rare & highly sought after original french lp issued in 1975. Monster spiritual afro jazz funk with strong west indies and latin influences by Georges Edouard Nouel, this french jazz pianist from Martinique is better known for his collaboration with Noel McGhie, Byard Lancaster, Steve Potts or Roland Brival but this record is a real west indies jazz funk masterpiece, at the same level as Marius Cultier "Ouelele" or Fabiano Orchestra "Butterfly island"... ! It contains the killer Fender jazz club tune "Meci bon die", compiled by Comet records in the now famous afro funk compilations Bilongo, but the whole album is a complete joy from the first to the last second. At last, if you like electric piano, you will love the top class Fender Rhodes sound of G-E Nouel which is one of the hottest, recommended to lovers of Romano Mussolini "Mirage", Michel Sardaby "Welcome New Warmth", Marco Di Marco... An absolutely essential record which is almost impossible to find !
