An ultra-rare MOD gem from 1964! GEORGIE FAME ~ "Yeah, yeh yeh" b/w "Peach and Teach"
Georgie Fame's unique blend of hammond led R&B quickly elevated him to star status within the early London mod scene. His gigs at the Scene Club were jam packed with the hippest faces cutting the latest moves on the dance-floor. Unlike many so-called 'mod bands' who were marketed to appeal to mods, Georgie Fame was a massive underground name in mod clubs before the scene became commercial/mainstream. This extremely rare early DEMO was pressed a few weeks before the aspiring R&B artist would be catapulted to the top of the charts.
