Description

 • Artist: Gerard Manset
 • Album Title: La Mort D’Orion
 • Format: LP
 • Label: EMI Pathé/Xenon
 • Country and Year of Release: France, 1975
 • Cover/Record Grade: VG++/Ex
 • Other Info: I’ve never heard anything quite like this, but it is lovely.   One review described it as “Dark, gothic, full of weird string choruses and electronic sounds, arrogant and brilliant, Orion is simply a masterpiece.  Inspired by classical music, Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, and Leo Ferre.”   I’ll add that it wouldn’t surprise me if Devil Doll’s Mister Doctor owns a well-worn copy of this album!  Comes in a gatefold and includes the 12-page booklet.
