Description
My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years
Very rare US pressing, released in 1977. Here's your chance to win the THIRD PRESSING of the first 7” by legendary punk band the GERMS from Los Angeles. Old eBay prices for this pressing: $300 + $155 + $150. The band includes a young Pat Smear later a member of the FOO FIGHTERS. As you know Pat Smear also toured as a member of NIRVANA, establishing a close friendship with frontman Kurt Cobain. Also a member of the band is the wild singer, the one & only Darby Crash. This original third US pressing was released on cult punk label 'What' records. It's also the very first label release (catalogue number WHAT 01). You can listen to two songs, both just barely over two minutes long. The A-sider is entitled ‘Forming’. The amazing track on the flip titled ‘The Germs Live’ aka 'Sex Boy'. The following message is printed on back of the sleeve: The Owner Of This Label (WHAT RECORDS) Warns That This Record May Cause Ear Cancer. Complete with lyric sheet. The sleeve shows soft handling wear (see scans) otherwise the condition is:
Condition / Zustand: EX/M- (very clean, sehr gut erhalten)
Postage & Packaging / Porto & Verpackung:
OUTSIDE GERMANY (all countries, same price for 1-3 singles): €7 (with tracking number)
DEUTSCHLAND für 1-3 Singles: €4,50 nur als Einschreibebrief (versichert)
Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
Payment / Bezahlung: via PayPal. Deutsche bitte per Banküberweisung oder PayPal. Good luck with your bids from Germany's record seller 'punky_music' (old name 'punkdealer')
