In the wider sprawl of Wu-Tang classics, people don't talk about Ironman enough. Ghostface Killah stepped up with this solo debut in 1996, bringing everything you could ever want from one of the most important units in hip-hop history. With RZA on the buttons and guest spots from Raekwon, Cappadonna and no less than Mary J. Blige, in a lot of ways Ironman showed a softer side to Wu-Tang, with plenty of heartfelt reflecting on personal relationships and trauma to offset the grittier street tales. Ghostface was at the peak of his powers on Ironman, and now you can cop this seminal classic on audiophile blue and red wax.
