Description

original soundtrack of the film LA MORTE RISALE A IERI SERA
MUSIC BY GIANNI FERRIO

Original 1970 Cinevox Record MDF 33/35 - STEREO 1st pressing, front laminated hard cover.
RARE, superb Italian Soundtrack of the Crime Drama Thriller "LA MORTE RISALE A IERI SERA" aka DEATH TOOK PLACE LAST NIGHT from 1970, written and arranged by legendary Italian film music composer and orchestra director GIANNI FERRIO. Outstanding, refined Giallo Jazz score by the cult maestro with loads of Funk, thrilling vibes and beats dopeness with absolutely brilliant orchestral arrangements. Top-notch studio line-up featuring the great Antonello Vannucchi on Hammond organ (I Marc 4), Gino Marinacci's flute and Al Korvin (Rai orchestra) trumpet solos. Amazing Jazz-Funk grooves with top of the top beats like the shaky "MILANO RHYTHM AND BLUES with its lively drums, Wah-Wah guitar and horns. The superb "LA CHIAVE DEL MISTERO" with lovely groovy beat and Cop/Giallo film inspired theme. Killer laden thrilling beat with heavy Jazz drumming swing on "IL NUMERO NON RISPONDE". More groovy Jazz-Funk from the great "L'INCHIESTA" that gets again the main theme, and the mental Jazz arrangements of "PASSEGGIATA IN TRE" with unbelievable Marinacci's flute solo and superb Lounge Jazz beat. Amazing cinematic inspired grooves from "INCOMPATIBILITÀ" theme with Antonello Vannucchi's Hammond solo and the great "I GIORNI CHE CI APPARTENGONO" Jazz-beat. Essential and top of the top Italian OST, hard to get in this magnificent shape!
