Description
For auction is "GIGI GRYCE" on Metro Jazz E1006, MONO, DG, 1957.
SOUND: VG+ or better
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Playback is, overall, fantastic! The only reason it doesn't grade higher than VG+ is, a few light tics here and there, few and infrequent. That's it! A really nice listen!
VINYL: VG+ or better
Visually, the vinyl is very nice. There's not much going on as far as any significant marks. There are 2 short, faint ones on side 1, but they look superficial. Side 1 is extremely glossy and clean, side 2 has more smudging, but again, nothing to worry over. On clean, red "Metro" labels with deep-grooves.
COVER: VG+
The cover is very clean. The edges and spine are very solid with minimal wear, except for a tiny beginning split bottom center. Corners are fairly sharp. Both front and back are clean and unmarked with minimal, routine wear or aging.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
