You are bidding on a rare, original jazz LP from 1957 by the Gil Melle Quartet, "Quadrama", on the Prestige record label #PRLP 7097. This is the original, rare yellow label, New York City address. Both sides of the labels state, "PRESTIGE RECORDS INC. 44 W. 50th St. N.Y.C." The labels and vinyl are in awesome, stunning condition and look never played. I was going to play this record to see how it sounded and decided not to. The original, blazing gloss is spectacular. The jacket, structurally, is in excellent condition. The front cover is glossy. There is residue from a small sticker at the upper right hand corner on the front cover. The back cover has four nice black and white photos of each band member-Gil Melle-baritone sax; Joe Cinderella-guitar; George Duiviver-bass; and Shadow Wilson-drums. The back cover also has a lengthy write-up about Bill Melle as well as information about each song. The back cover has some light areas of soiling, but not too bad. This is a tremendous collectible for the serious, vintage jazz aficiando.
