Description
I am radically downsizing an enormous vinyl collection over future months. All albums are mine and have been well cared for and played on high-quality equipment. Most are excellent.
This is the Cheerful Insanity of Giles Giles & Fripp (later King Crimson), Stereo copy on red and white label Deram SML 1022. A first pressing with clear ZAL-8330-1W, ZAL-8331-1W matrixes.
The vinyl is excellent, possibly better, but I am very cautious and conservative about claiming a 55 year old album is 'near mint'. But plays perfectly throughout. The labels are clean with no names or scribbles, no scars or ripples.Original plainish inner with info about how to play the record as per Decca Deram in the late 1960's.The half laminated outer sleeve is VVG for its age. Very little wear to corners, no splits or tears, good thin spine. There is a stereo label, together with an import sticker (though where it might be imported from, I have no idea). And there is a small triangular area where the laminate is missing (see photo). The rear fold over is near with no cracking. The white areas are very mildly grubby with a hint of ring wear.
