Description

ARTIST:  GILES GILES & FRIPP

TITLE:   THE CHEERFUL INSANITY OF

LABEL: DERAM (SML 1022)

COUNTRY: U.K.

CONDITION:  RECORD : EX , COVER : EX -

This wonderfully whimsical album is Robert Fripp pre King Crimson. It was recorded in 1968 and has some brilliant musical passages. It's full of British psychedelic touches (similar in parts to the Small Faces Ogdens Nutgone Flake's Happiness Stan. Full track listing : Side one Track 1.(The saga of Rodney Toady )North medow 2.Newly-weds 3.One in a million 4.Call tomorrow 5.Digging my lawn 6.Little children 7.The crukster 8.Thursday morning. Side Two Track 1.(Just George) How do they know 2.Elephant song 3.The sun is shining 4.Suite No.1 5.Erudite eyes. The record is in excellent condition with just a couple of hairlines but plays beautifully. The cover has just a couple of light creases and light ring wear on back cover so is graded as excellent minus. A most interesting album with great guitar playing from Fripp ably backed up by Giles and Giles. Recomended for King Crimson and 60's psyche fans.
