Here's a very nice copy of this hard to find original French picture sleeve 1975 first issue from GILL SCOTT-HERON with "THE BOTTLE" on the France STRATA-EAST imprint 2C 004-96.772 and backed with "BACK HOME". I believe this was the only first issue of this popular tune to be pressed on a 7 inch single hence it's relative scarcity.
This is a lovely copy that remains in a strong excellent plus condition and plays perfectly throughout with light crackle on the run-in and run-out groove and with light surface sleeve rubs not affecting play. The labels are very clean on both sides with minimal ring wear and a very nice copy for the DJ or to grace any collection. The picture sleeve is in excellent condition without any written annotations or rips and with light creasing and light ring wear (see picture scans).
From my personal collection that I'm downsizing so why not check my other listings for more great sounds.
The record will be shipped in a stiffened card mailer by Royal Mail Large Letter First Class "Signed For" Service only at a cost of £3.25 in the UK or, overseas by "Signed For" service at the costs indicated. This provides protection for both parties in the unlikely event of loss. After 4 years of holding my shipping costs and absorbing the annual Royal Mail price increase, following the latest 20p domestic increase effective from 25th March 2019, I reluctantly need to increase the amount charged to cover my costs.
