Features the killer modal masterpiece TERRE ENGLOUTIE as played by Gilles Peterson on his "Winter's Here... Oh Well" mix and Brownswood Basement radio sets. Long bewitching intro with vocal shades and tones / wordless scat harmony a la Chêne Noir - Orphée 2000 - La Musique Des Amants drifting into spiritual jazz rhythms and majestic Coltrane-esque solos. We have also recorded the beautiful INTERMEDE No 1 / the stylish modern jazz groove of ATTENTE and the crashing Rashid Ali inspired drums and ethnic free jazz delirium of COMPENSATION for our soundclip. Every track is superb with a year defying sound (for us, much more mid '70s in feel). Top production and the spellbinding voice of Deborah gives the record a mystical / magical edge too. Desirable item with certain Japanese DJs and collectors. Archive copy, was sealed, opened and played once for the recording of our soundclip. Rare Lp!!!
