GINA WILDKATZE Soundtrack 7"
1973. TST 78 476.
After I found out about this 7" it took me more than three years to track down a copy. Now that this has been featured on the second installment of "The In-Kraut" it might be even harder to come by. In the past year I have run across only one other copy on ebay.
Gina von Freiburg seems to have run a brothel (or a nightclub?) in "real life" and put some money into a semi-documentary feature about her. My suggestion would be that this has been produced in typical 70's sexploitation style for German television, not even a bigger screen. While the movie already is obscure it is even more difficult to gather information about the soundtrack.
It was done by a young Dieter Reith who at the beginning of his career already had connections to the SWF tv production from the very south of Germany (which was all public back then), accompanied by singer Christer Bladin who did opera later on. But this 7" has been omitted from every Dieter Reith discography that I know of! No catalogue number or record company are given on this private pressing, just the number from the pressing plant: TST 78 476 (which is common for a lot of records from this era with no record company behind it; some of the "popshopping" records with music for commercials have numbers like this as well).
Tracks are "Wildkatze" ("Wild Cat") and "Ich liebe dich" ("I Love You"). For the the music - heavy grooving orchestra stuff with suggestive lyrics - please check out the sound clips from the "In-Kraut" somewhere on the web. The cover shows an erotic shot of Gina von Freiburg on the front and Christer Bladin on the back.
CONDITION (cover/vinyl): VG++/NM
This is a stock copy exclusively played by myself a couple of times. Some superfine hairline marks from sliding it into the cover, perfect sound with no pops, no background noise. The cover has sharp edges and corners with no signs of wear, but the vinyl left an impression on the rather thin paper, mainly along the right edge which also shows a long crease.
PAYMENT & SHIPPING: I will ship anywhere in the world. Shipping is 5.00 Euro within Europe, 9.00 Euro overseas.
Within the Euro zone I strongly prefer bank transfers to my international account. But I also accept payments through PAYPAL (contact me for details before auction ends), cash (Euro only, please), IMO's from the Post Office etc.
Please email me if you have any questions regarding this auction. BTW I've sold many items thru ebay before with 1000+ positive feedbacks under my old account which I might reveal at end of auction. Still the item is sold as is!
"Locals" dürfen auch mitbieten ;-)
Versand natürlich auch innerhalb Deutschlands, für 2.00 Euro als Brief (offene Sendung) oder 4.50 Euro als versicherte Sendung mit Hermes. Abrechnung bitte in Euro und vorzugsweise per Banküberweisung! Berliner können ersteigerte Artikel auch gerne direkt bei mir abholen.
