Here we have an original 1st UK pressed album in mono from the 1950s on the gold/red semi His Master's Voice" label with a cat. no. ALP 1479 and matrices XEX 460-1N & XEX 461-1N.
Vinyl: VG. The vinyl is in great condition and has jut 3 hairlines. It plays well but suffers with surface noise and 8 light clicks.
Labels: EX. The labels are in wonderful condition with the remains of a "Factory Sample" sticker on side 1. These labels have very little spindle marking.
Sleeve: EX+. The Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve is in lovely condition with hardly any wear to speak of. It has a lovely laminate shine. Back has slight discolouration but hardly noticeable. One of the nicest sleeves I've seen.
This is one of the rarest classical records around today and although not perfect sound quality, it is very easily listenable.
