Legendary Israeli-born, to Russian parents, violinist Ivry Gitlis (b. 1922) performs concertos by Wieniawski with Jean-Claude Casadesus conducting the Orchestra National de L’Opera de Monte-Carlo. Gitlis is a superb virtuoso violinist who studied with Carl Flesch, Georges Enesco & Jacques Thibaud. His passionate performances are simply astonishing & classics. His performance of the Wieniawski concertos is breathtaking! Record is in NEAR MINT (appears unplayed) condition & deluxe gatefold jacket is also NM. Hard to find issue, don’t miss it!
