Label:   ESP-DISK.  Stereo pressing on medium thick vinyl.   Label is green with black text.  Catalog number is ESP 1007.

Year:  1965.

Giuseppi Logan – tenor & alto sax, Pakistani oboe

Milford Graves – percussion

Don Pullen – piano

Eddie Gomez - bass.

NOTE:  This came from a large collection stored for many years by an individual associated with the radio station at a historically black university back in the mid 1970s-early ’80s.  Most appear to have been sampled once, or appear unplayed.  Guaranteed to be original and not a modern repro.  I will be listing additional albums from this collection in the coming weeks, so please check back for additional rare titles.

Condition: 

DISC:  Vinyl is gorgeous NM-, a beauty!  The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster, except some slight scuffing at the beginning of Side 2.  Disc has been played a small number of times and handled with care.  Plays beautifully with superb fidelity.  Labels are clean and pristine. 

JACKET:  Jacket is VG+ with no major problems.  Panels are clean with no writing or stickers, but has begun to show ring wear on the non-laminated white surfaces.  Seams show some wear and a few chips, and the left side of top seam is beginning to split (approximately 4 inches).  There is a small drill hole in upper left corner.  Overall a very presentable jacket to accompany the nice disc.
