THE GLASS TEARS BAND: Midnight Brew/Bring Him Back (Trip Universal T-30)

• Condition : VG+, fair amount of light scuffs on Midnight Brew side, plays fine.
• Description : Rare soul / funk instrumental 45. This is a well-known "cover-up" record: The artist is actually MELVIN CARTER. Midnight Brew was issued on this label four different times, under four names (Melvin Carter, Glass Tears Band, Still Life, 6 Pack) and then remixed/reissued a few years later on yet another label. I see two copies each on popsike of the other Trip Universal issues of this track, and NONE of The Glass Tears Band version. The "Bring Him Back" side is funky soul with double-tracked female vocals. OVERSEAS: the cheaper shipping option on your invoice (First Class Mail International) does not include insurance or tracking. With FCMI service, Registered Mail (includes tracking number and requires your signature upon delivery) is available for $11.75 extra per parcel; if you want Registered Mail added to your FCMI parcel, ask. The higher price option on your invoice (Priority Mail International) includes a tracking number and, to most countries, around $80 in insurance coverage, as part of the shipping cost. However, Registered Mail service is not available with Priority Mail International service.
