Description

Classic and first label release. This top produced 12” EP was given 9/10 points by the FLEX book/website (US Hardcore/Punk). Brilliant No Wave/Anti-commercial/One-direction/Experimental 2-tracker from the States. You are bidding on the very hard to find first 12“ EP by GLENN BRANCA from 1980. Original first pressing, released on famous East Coast arty/post punk/noise label ’99 records‘ from New York City. Label mates are ESG, LIQUID LIQUID, CONGO, Y PANTS, MAXIMUM JOY and many others. It’s also the very rare first label release (catalogue number 99-01 EP). Issued in original cardboard sleeve.

The same sold on eBay, in March 2008, for $108 (US).

The brilliant A-sider titled ‘Lesson No. 1 For Electric Guitar’ (8:12 minutes). The excellent flip named ‘Dissonance’ (11:40 minutes). Both tracks were produced by Mark Bingham. The assistant producers are Ed Bahlman and Glenn Branca. Sleeve and vinyl are still in excellent condition. Please note: there is also part of the A-side label etiquette missing. Airmail postage/packaging: GERMANY 1-7 LPs (5-7 Euro) 8-36 LPs (7 Euro). EUROPE (all countries) 1 LP (6 Euro) 2-3 LPs (8 Euro) 4-7 LPs (15 Euro) 8-22 LPs (18 Euro). REST OF THE WORLD 1 LP (9 Euro) 2-3 LPs (13 Euro) 4-7 LPs (29 Euro) 8-22 LPs (32-37 Euro). Payment: Europeans via paypal or by bank transfer. Overseas via paypal only. German customers should send their payment to my bank account. Good luck with your bid from Berlin’s eBay seller ‘punkdealer’
