These tracks were originally recorded with The Misfits in 1979, and they had one 12" Who Killed Marilyn EP created on acetate; but this proved to be too expensive for them to produce at the time. In 1981 Glenn Danzig re-recorded two of the tracks, playing all the instruments himself, and released it as this solo 7" single.

"Glenn Danzig crooning about Marilyn Monroe... This release confused me when it came out, and I never really played it. However, the sleeve got a little wear (see pics) from the 32 years I've owned it. Please take that into consideration before bidding!"

Welcome to the Skeleton Closet!
I was a rabid music collector for 30+ years - Punk and Hardcore in the early-Eighties, Death Metal and Grunge in the late-Eighties, Industrial and Experimental in the early-Nineties, and Goa Trance and Psytrance in the late-Nineties and early-2000s…
I also worked at a record company for 13 years, toured North America with numerous international acts, DJed internationally, produced festivals, and had a clothing importing company. So in this time, I’ve accumulated a lot of interesting and limited items...
Family life and other life changes have made me decide to unload my collection. For the majority of the items, I have been the original owner of the item. I try to be accurate on my description and condition of the items. I have a lot to sell, so check back often -- I’ll try to keep the new listings coming weekly...

On Jan-30-14 at 11:44:56 PST, seller added the following information: I had a bidder ask me the following question: "Can you tell me what the matrix etchings are?" The matrix etchings match the ones listed in the Description, which I pull from Discogs website. Matrix / Runout (A-side etchings): PL-1015 F/W DM Matrix / Runout (B-side etchings): PL1015B FW dm It is original, and I should mention I bought this directly from the band/label, though I wasn't a "Fiend Club" member... On Jan-31-14 at 03:15:31 PST, seller added the following information: I had a watcher send me this message regarding the matrix numbers: "um side a should read PL-1015 A f/w dm" He's correct, and it DOES. The correct matrix number on Side A is: "PL-1015 A F/W DM" First pressing. I submitted an error correction to the Discogs page which is where I pull the information for the items I sell -- not sure how quickly they update their info...
