Description: Original 1982 US pressing on CBS Masterworks catalog # IM 37779. Glenn Gould’s last recording. Compared to the original 1956 recording, Glenn Gould’s performance is more nuanced and introspective; he displays a more thoughtful & deliberate take on the variations while maintaining some key Glenn Gould traits (such as humming along and the emphasis on counterpoint). A great companion piece to the original!
