Description
The highly sought-after, much coveted & exceptionally rare 1956 Columbia 6 Eye Mono pressing. As the years roll on, these are going the way of the dinosaur and are becoming nearly extinct, making it almost impossible to find one in as excellent condition as this one.
This original pressing includes a second 'insert' cover with the continuation of the liner notes on one side and advertisements for Columbia on the other.
Vinyl: EX or better. Has a few faint whisps that do not affect playback. Vinyl is glossy overall. Would benefit from a good cleaning after it's nearly 70 years of existence. Still has the original archival poly-lined inner sleeve intact!
Sleeve: VG (PLEASE REFERENCE PHOTOS)
Bear in mind that Columbia really set these sleeves up for failure by stuffing the 2nd cardboard inner sleeve into a standard cardboard outer.
