Description
GLORIA MATANCERA: VERNE Records (Mfd in NYC in 1959 or 1960) One very, very nice album. The music has that old Havana sound, like nothing else in the world. Very professionally recorded, with excellent tonal quality and engineering. This is not a repackaging of old 78 sides. - You can read the Song list on the 3rd and 4th Pictures. This one hardly ever turns up, and this one is in exceptionally nice shape. The Front Cover is in Fine condition with only light shelfwear; the Back Cover has some ageing due to the pulp content of the paper used. The Labels are clean and new on both sides. The Vinyl Record itself looks almost new and plays nicely at a very Solid VG+ and much Better (not quite VG++ at times, but not far from it). I've posted some audio clips from both sides of this record at: www.gate.net/~rhanes/gloriamatanceralp.wma - If you click onto this hyperlink, you can download them as WINDOWS MEDIA AUDIO FILES and listen for yourself. I can ship this anywhere in the USA Media Rate for $4.00. This can ship to most Overseas Countries for around $20.00; shipping to Canada will cost $13.00. I just signed on to eBay's GLOBAL SHIPPING, which offers lower shipping costs to many different Countries. If bidding reaches $50, and it sells to a non-US Buyer, it will have to ship via Registered Mail (but I'll pay 5.00 of the 12.95 Registered Mail Fee.) If it sells to a non-US Buyer for $120-$300, it will have to ship Air Priority ($40.00), and I'll have to pay for Insurance for the full amount sold. If it sells to a non-US Buyer for over $300, it will have to ship Global Express Mail ($49.00) and I'll pay for Insurance. I can also ship via eBay's GLOBAL SHIPPING, which goes to some countries for the same costs as shipping within the USA (but eBay ships and they declare full sales value). The POST OFFICE LOSES PACKAGES, don't blame me if it happens to you. Since I will have to insure it, I will have to declare full sales value; if paying other than PAYPAL, I can ship it any way you want. PAYPAL rules make it very difficult and expensive to ship anything out of the country now, since they require on-line Tracking Numbers. You can't get that with simple First Class International shipping. The US Post Office has made it very difficult to Insure packages leaving the country. I can take PAYPAL (and others). Again, if you can pay me and not use PAYPAL, I'll be happy to ship it any way you want it. No reserve on this. Good luck!
