Description
For sale is GLORIA SMYTH's "Like Soul," WP-1293, MONO, DG, 1960. Featuring Les McCann, Teddy Edwards.
SOUND: NM It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Outstanding, clean clear sound, with only the faintest trace of any surface noise here or there.
VINYL: NM Beautifully clean, with only very faint scuffs or marks of any type, completely superficial. Deep-grooved World-Pacific labels, very nice with faint spindle marks.
JACKET: NM Very nice condition in all respects: spine and edges, corners, front and back. Clean, excellent condition. A tiny piece of peeling paper upper right spine.
The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material. Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
