Original 1971 FLY RECORD - Stereo pressing, cat. AS 51, Italy.

RARE and cult Italian Library album by maestro Gianni Mazza on the elusive Fly Record, run by Aldo Sinesio. 1st volume of the two's released on the label (LA CITTA' 1 and 2). A stunning session recorded at Umiliani's SOUND WORK SHOP studios with the historical sound engineer Claudio Budassi. Music, arrangements and direction by the cult maestro, historical Italian TV orchestra director, but music here is also signed at SIAE by Mr. Brugnolini, Torossi, Massimo Catalano and Giuliano Sorgini. Insane and Killer Library recording with the mental Silvano Chimenti's Psychedelic guitars and plenty of bastard grooves. Bonkers Psychedelic beats and catching Progressive riffs with groovy drum breaks / heavy filmic themes and urban inspired themed music / classy Easy Listening vibes / loungy sounds / sleazy Underground studio recording / totally infamous jam with inspiring samples and some really hot Bboy Psychedelic groovers. Mental Psychedelic sleeve job too. Cult Italian Library recording!

Clip starts with the bastard grooves of "LA STAZIONE" with the punishing drums and an insane Psychedelic loop, dope bassline and deep sound recording - Progressive flute and organ accompaniment. On the same line the mental Progressive "WEEK END" with flying campanaccio fixed beat, huge Underground vibes, killer Hammond organ, dreamy oddtempo rhythms and acid guitars riff. "CONTESTAZIONE" features another evil Psychedelic loop with sleazy organ and guitar and mad flute improvisations. "STRADA DI SCORRIMENTO" features catching Psychedelic moods with studio orchestra instrumentation and an Experimental filmic vein. Lovely Easy Listening Jazzy Score theme on "I GATTI" with some dope laidback vibes. Similar in style the Experimental Psych "ASCENSORI" with its distressing sounds. More Experimental vibes on the Liuto and flute superb theme "AI MARGINI DELLA CITTA". Killer LP!
