Extremely rare record. Private pressing for the Blinkers night club in Manchester. The 'Blinkers' club was an exclusive 'A' list celebrity watering hole during the sixties in Manchester. This record was for sale exclusively to members of the club, and was played at the beginning and end of evenings at the club.
The record was recorded in 1967 by Kevin Godley and Lol Creme (of 10cc fame) and is reputed to be their first ever commission. It has become legendary amongst 10cc collectors as a piece of the band's early history. It is suspected that the A-Side vocals are sung by Kevin Godley & the faster B-Side by Lol Creme. As a piece of 10cc music history, it is extremely rare.
The vinyl is in strong VG+ condition with only a few very light hairlines. Plays through on both sides with no skips or jumps; has light crackling on run-ins and one or two light 'pops' on side 1. Both labels are mark free as per the photographs which are of the actual item. You will probably never find a better example of this extremely rare collector's item. Comes in a plain white 7" record sleeve.
