Description
Artist: Golem Title: Orion Awakes Label: Pyramid (?) Condition (jacket/vinyl): VG+/EX
Jacket and vinyl are very nice overall, but there's a small seam split at the top of the cover, so I don't want to call it any better than VG+. $6 flat shipping for as many records as you buy.
So if you know your krautrock, you probably know the story of the "Pyramid" label.... and the fact that none of these bands seem to have actually existed before the 1990s. But don't let that put you off: This is a great space rocker, I'd put it up there with the best of Ash Ra Tempel, and I wouldn't let this one go if it weren't a double! I believe this is the first vinyl appearance of this LP: It pre-dates anything I've seen other than the Psi-Fi CDs that came out in the 90s. It has a black and white cover, unlike the more recent reissue on Mental Experience.
I'm letting go of a bunch of 70's progressive, psychedelic, and hard rock LPs. There are some real face melters here, and $6 will cover shipping on as many as you grab, so please have a look at my other auctions!
All photos are of the actual items for sale. All are from my personal collection. Most were bought new, and all were treated with care, but I'll do my best to note any flaws.
