Description
Brain ( green label), Germany, 1971, gatefold.
VG/ VG Small lamination bubbles along all edges; about a 1" strip of lamination peel that has been re-glued into place along opening edge front and back, small ring and label area indent lines on back cover. Like most copies in which the lamination layer has been left on and not removed, the white areas ( mainly on back cover) have yellowed just a bit with time.
Record has some mild surface noise going into each side, an occasional pop and click, and some light underlying surface noise throughout, noticeable in some of the quieter passages but not too distracting.
Heavy and expansive guitar driven Kraut rock masterpiece with a lot of variety to the tracks. From thick, rocked-out, rhythmic jams to spacier passages, a winner from start to finish. Even among the canon of Kraut rock lps from the early 70s, surrounded by its label mates on the green Brain label, this is a truly great and standout album! Highly recommended!
