From my own vast private collection gathered over last 45+ years ...these mostly from 1973 - 1978 I had my own Record Store here in Northern California in the 1970's and 80's -and bringing in wonderfully vibrant and amazing Progressive Rock Imports was a top specialty and priority - I was (still am) so nuts about this music that I had 3 different evolving weekly Radio Programs dedicated to it over 20 years - and loved nothing more than turning folks on to these bands and immersing myself and my audience in these exotic sounds. Now it is finally time for me to pass them on - my hardest LPs to part with, some 8 boxes of which I shall be listing throughout this Spring. Many of the leading progenitors of the 1st progressive era, but quite a few more obscure but no less amazing artists of the period. . *Sadly I am NOT FAST at listing and can am lucky to get around 50 up at a time, but they will keep on coming (as I pause between series, to focus on top level packing and immediate shipping) so keep checking back.

VINYL is NEAR MINT Full gloss vinyl looks and plays Like New. Labels are pristine both sides.

COVER is VG+
Clean, snapping bright matte gatefold cover is flat and straight edged with sharp corners all around. Touch of wear w/tiny black specks at bottom edge; tan discoloration at top right corner from removed sticker (no residue or tearing). Inside gatefold is immaculate. No creases, other wear or marks. Bottom seam has wear, top seam and flat even spine are 100% intact with no wear. NO splits.

Hard-to-find original Roger Dean "twins with red Dragon" label 1st issue from DISCOGS: "When this was released, Virgin were phasing out the Roger Dean 'Twins' label. Only early copies bear this label,  later ones have the red and green Virgin logo label"

...Discogs identifies this Matrix sequence as one of 3 1st Pressings, dependent on which pressing house was used.

Other 1st Press indicators that this LP bears (All of these must be present for a 1st Press): Title of B5 printed as "Life Is How Y Make It" on the back sleeve but as "Life Is How U Make It" on the disc label. "A BYG VIRGIN PRODUCTION" is printed on back sleeve, at bottom left. a glyph-like inverted "GF" is etched into Dead Wax, both sides. Track durations printed on cover are incorrect.
Many 1st Press also came with a 14 page RADIO GNOME booklet. I have it but cannot locate it in time for this listing ...therefore: a) I have included a very scarce original flyer for the "GONG 25" 25th Birthday Party - in MINT condition. Event was at The Forum in London, Oct. 8 and 9, 1994. Performers were: GONG, Mother Gong, Planet Gong, Tim Blake solo, Didier Malherbe's FLUVIUS, Pip Pyle's SHORTWAVE ...and others (SEE Flyer in LAST Photo) SPECIAL GUEST ARTIST: Kevin Ayers flyer is approx. 5 3/4" x 8 1/4"
