Description
Rev. W.T. Sneed on a 45 RPM of the Hytone Records label entitled Move Up a Little Higher / To Be Like Jesus in approximately NM- condition. The 45 RPM record shows full gloss, with a clean playing surface (appears new and unplayed)
Dr. / Pastor Willie T. Sneed passed away last year shortly after celebrating his 80th Birthday. His Memorial was attended by hundreds of people, including his large family, friends, Church members, and the Greater Association of Baptist Church for the western United States. Dr. Sneed had served as an administrator for the Baptist Church many years, in addition to leading his own Church in south Los Angeles. He helped hundreds of people in their everyday lives, and was honored by Jesse Jackson and former President Bill Clinton. I had the good fortune to attend his Church several times, and interview his life story on DVD. Thank you "Papa T".
This is one of his earliest west coast singles, with scintillating guitar and lyrics, with vocal accompaniment from his Congregation. (He continued to sing with the same deep emotion until his final days.)
Please listen to the streaming audio of both sides of this actual record by using the eCommerce auction player.

So far, all my shipments have arrived safely. The customer has the option to select insurance for absolute security.
There is a complete audio stream of at least one side of each record on the listing page. Occasionally the audio stream "times out" overseas, limiting the sound, to a brief "clip". If this happens, please email or message me, and I will try to make a correction. Here is my grading system:
NM- = record appears mostly new and uplayed
VG++ = record looks great, may be a few light paper scuffs, plays like new.
VG+ = fairly nice copy, may be a few light marks, occasional tick or pop, but mostly clean sound.
VG = wear, scuffing, light scratches, ticks and pops, but a very playable copy.
VG- many scuffs or groove wear, plays with some noise, but still listenable.
G+ = a playable copy but very very worn, plays with lots of noise
G through G- = wall hanger
