GOTHIC HORIZON - TOMORROW'S ANOTHER DAY

Rare under the radar and underrated folk/psych gem on cherished ARGO label, now becoming much sought after

Year/Label : 1972 ARGO UK Label number : ZDA 150 STEREO Matrix numbers :  ZRG-3715-1K, ZRG-3716-1K Stampers : 1 C  /  1 K
Excellent plus (EX+) condition vinyl (many would grade as "near mint", I am sure) - flat, weighty and retaining it's original jet black lacquered sheen and difficult to identify any marks at all - perhaps just one or two very small and extremely faint paper scuff lines when viewed closely under a bright light - purely superficial and nothing really. The labels are again excellent plus (EX) - near perfect in fact, with the only marks being two very small and extrmely faint spindle trails next to the centre hole on each label. Clearly, this is a record that has been played only very sparingly, probably just a few times at most.  A very good plus (VG+) condition non-laminated 1st press Senol Printing outer sleeve with firm edges and near perfectly defined corners with minimal rubbing. There is some mild intermittent scuffing on the bottom edge but none at all on either the top edge or spine, where all spine text remains perfectly intact. The opening edges are also firm and with no fraying at all. The blemishes are two small surface creases towards the front side bottom right corner (see photos), another light 3cm surface crease on the reverse side next to the opening edge, and towards the front-side bottom left corner some small scuffs and a little ring wear which have neatly been filled in with black felt tip pen - not obvious and discreetly done but light blemishes nonetheless so do please take a look at my photos. As a whole the colours, art work, photos, and text remain in great shape with the sleeve itself remaining fully functional and highly presentable.  Excellent plus (EX+) stereo sound quality with no sticks, skips, repeats, clicks, distortion or background crackle. Great tone and clarity with every track a great listen. A terrific LP, woth buying for the final tyrack on side 1 alone ("SUNNY DAY PARABLE").  Comes with original and very good plus (VG+) condition poly-lined blue and white inner sleeve, correctly dated with no side splits or age discolouration but there is some obvious creasing. Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original.    Long lost and very hard to find folk/psych gem and difficult to believe that this copy is 53 years of age.
POSTAGE COSTS :

For the UK £3.64 using Royal Mail tracked 48, ebay "Simple Delivery";

for continental Europe £11 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for,

and for the rest of the world £17 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for.

I do provide posting and packaging discounts for multiple purchases. I make no profit from postage.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.

A bit about myself : I have been collecting UK vinyl for over 55 years from a variety of sources : my own collection, friends and family, car boot and garage sales, door-to-door leaflets, and even through placing an advert in my wife's shop window! My ebay feedback speaks for itself so rest assured that you are buying from a trusted seller and in the very unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase just e-mail me and I will sort out the problem. I offer a "no questions asked" refund policy.
