Description

A great collection of EIGHT 78rpm 10" shellac records, all on the Rex record label, all performed by the 1930s actress, comedian, singer and star of cinema and music hall, Gracie Fields. Titles/condition as follows:

  • 8893 Indian Love Call/Rose Marie (very good)
  • 9649 Little Drummer Boy/Smile When You Say Goodbye (excellent)
  • 9690 When I Grow Too Old to Dream/Little Old Lady (good)
  • 8617 The General's Fast Asleep/Grandfather's Bagpipes (very good)
  • 8585 Red Sails in the Sunset/South American Joe (fair, minor scratches, playable)
  • 9258 Some Day My Prince Will Come/Whistle While You Work (fair, minor scratches, plays)
  • 8868 Gracie's Request Record (good, minor scratches)
Part of an extensive collection, priced to sell as I have several thousand of these old 78s to find new homes for. The shipping price includes a strong double wall box, multiple layers of bubble-wrap and polystyrene loose fill - the best way of packaging these potentially delicate shellac records which once lost are difficult to replace. Overseas buyers please be aware that most international sales (including those to mainland Europe) now attract import charges.
