Description
As one of the originators of British Blues interpretations of US originals, this guy was one of the cream of the crop! Alongside such luminaries as Cyril Davies and Alexis Korner in London, and then joined by John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, they set the scene for the spawning of a whole new burgeoning band of great groups. In his own band 'THE ORGANisation' he had Jack Bruce and Ginger baker indeed! After the blues 'boom' had subsided though, GRAHAM BOND turned his interests to magic, psyche, and other 'etherial influences' (perhaps mind-expanding ones). On this UK original LP "HOLY MAGICK" he expresses some tribal psych sounding incantations, envisioning Druid times and rituals even. This is on the VERTIGO (swirl) UK lable # 6360 021 from 1970. The vinyl is in NM- condition, and the gatefold sleeve is VG++, having light wear and one small scuff to the front cover (see pic).
