Description
GRAHAM LOWNDES
MOUTHMUSIC
Orig. 70ies LP - superrare australian private pressing, strange psychy folkrock
which reminds me Captain Beefheart ?
Got an info from an australian collector some minutes ago who wrote:
Graham Lowndes was not a member of Extradition! The first lineup of Extradition in 1969 was Shayna Karlin (v), Colin Dryden (g, v), Colin Campbell (v, g), Jim Stanley (b) and Bob Lloyd (d). By late 1970, Dryden and Stanley had left and were replaced by Richard Lockwood (flute, woodwind) and Ken Firth (b) both from Tully. By the time their album Hush was released in June 1971 the band had ceased to exist and was absorbed into Tully. Lowndes had been a member of the bands R J Taylor, Bootleg, Powderhorn & One Ton Gypsy which he left in 1972 to pursue his solo career. Cheers, S.
I think the truth lies in the middle, Graham is mentioned in the line-up of the EXTRADITION-ALBUM, see discogs.
ORIGINAL - first press OZ with the rare lyric-sheet!
