Description
Lovely copy of the original 1974 first pressing of Gram Parsons' Grievous Angel LP on RepriseMS-2171. Features a young Emmylou Harris, and a litany of legendary musicians, including James Burton, Bernie Leadon, Emory Gordy, Byron Berline, Herb Peterson, and so on. Probably Parsons' masterpiece. This is the original, with the pre-Warner Brothers logo label. A rare real first pressing. They made way more of the later pressings because he became a little more popular after he died, and these original ones are a little harder to find, especially in good condition. This one is still in the shrinkwrap and looks and sounds just beautiful. The disc has a few light scuffs and signs of use but really it plays near flawlessly and just beautifully. I don't hear a single tick or any crackle at all. A beautiful playing copy. The cover has only a little light wear at the open edge. Barely. A top original copy.
