Description

GRAMOPHONE DRAMATIC PARTY - male and female Hindi dialog & vocals accompanied by harmonium & percussion [see attached photo for further details] (His Master's Voice N6075) --- worn [VV+] condition (significant wear and superficial marks but no serious defects) --- despite obvious wear this disc plays loud & clear and much better than my visual grading --- a period (early 1930s) representation of the travelling entertainment groups which were a feature of rural India including dialog, songs, dances & a nice instrumental break at the end of the first side with prominent percussion and other traditional instruments.

See my other auctions for further ethnic, jazz, vocal & other unusual 78s!
