Description

On Time LP - THE GRAND FUNK RAILROAD (Capitol ST-307)

Original 1969 U.S. stereo LP. GFR's good debut album, in surprisingly ACE condition. All the early FUNK albums are almost always found in hammered condition, for they were  the classic 'stoner party albums' of the day (long-haired teen dudes + cheap weed = abused record). This copy somehow escaped & it features a very clean cover still in original shrink, plus a way better than average disc that sounds FABULOUS. Tuff to find a nicer copy of this, for sure. 

Disc = EX+ (downgraded due to very lite fingernail-like scuff thru all of side 1 - NOT AFFECTING PLAY AT ALL; glossy vinyl that plays SUPER, with NO distortion, just a couple of faint scattered pops & virtually NO background noise to speak of; a GREAT listen  )

Cover = see pix; IN SHRINK; small lite diagonal crack in front lower right corner; 2 small holes in shrink along front bottom edge; any questions?, please ask

Labels = see pix; just a couple of very faint spindle marks around center hole
