HELLO ..Today we are offering..
GRANDMASTER FLASH & THE FURIOUS FIVE ...THE MESSAGE LP...HAND SIGNED /AUTOGRAPHED
Back in the 2000s I owned a record store in Perth Western Australia... In 2003? to my surprise in walked the master himself... I knew who he was as I was a fan and knew he was in town as part of his Australian tour... We chatted briefly then he said to me do you have any samples or breaks records ?.. I said I do have plenty (as some of the local djs were very arrogant and didnt think I had a clue about sampling and the breaks so a lot of the records just sat there in the $5 rack library records etc)... I said to him your the man and he told me he likes walking into record stores and asking for the breaks and sample records... he said find them and play them to me... reluctantly I did . It was awesome to see a legend at work .He would listen to what I thought was a sample or break and he would mark the LP with a Texta around the track then write all over the cover and label...he hung out in my shop for 2 or more hours just doing his thing...he spent a lot of money in my shop and i packed up a few cartons of LPs... I remember he pulled out a new AC DCs Back In Black and played through it until he found a sample he liked and again wrote all over it , he wanted to play something Australian at the gig he was doing that night .It was a fantastic experience seeing a legend at his craft... I had a new copy of The Message which he gladly signed, it was such a experience I'll never forget...

NM = As good as new but possibly played (Superb Playback)
EX = Possible very light surface marks (Will still sound Fantastic)
VG+ = Surface marks Nothing serious (Some background noise )No skips or Jumps…NOT BEAT UP JUNK …
GD = Lots of surface marks some more serious Will still play …
