GRANT GREEN “I Want To Hold Your Hand” RVG, Blue Note 84022 Stereo Vinyl
This is the "VAN GELDER" stamped pressing of GRANT GREEN’s “I Want To Hold Your Hand” on the “New York” labels of Blue Note BST 84022. Musicians include Grant Green – guitar, Hank Mobley - tenor saxophone (tracks 1-4 & 6), Larry Young – organ, Elvin Jones - drums.
STEREO VINYL plays well, with LIGHT SURFACE NOISE, POPS AND TICKS, SOME REPEATING (Side 1, #1). Ensemble sections are very dynamic and clear. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Very Good gloss. Solid tone. Handful of non-feelable hairline marks. (If you can't feel it you won't hear it). The "New York" labels are generally clean with spindle marks. See photos.
MONO COVER is in Good shape, corners worn. RIngwear. Seams and spine worn, with cracking but solid. "BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23" back jacket shows wear. Please see photos.
