ORIGINAL MONO W / EAR 12" LP  

LP is in Near Mint condition.
 The thick lustrous vinyl is nearly flawless, without scuffs,or scratches of any kind.There a few miniscule but inaudible sleeve marks.   The fidelity is superb,with no distortion, pops, clicks,or background noise of any kind.

Jacket is in NM/EX+ condition. Original heavy and glossy jacket is in nice condition. There are virtually no scuffs, or blemishes of any kind.There is very minor corner and shelf wear, as in image.This lp is stored in the original inner sleeve. Three musical giants met up for this 1964 album, each with very different experiences. Grant Green, who with Wes Montgomery was the most significant jazz guitarist to emerge in the early 1960s, showed great versatility on a long series of Blue Note records as both leader and sideman, excelling at hard bop, soul jazz, postbop jazz, spirituals and blues; he could play anything. Larry Young, who like most organists started out strongly influenced by Jimmy Smith, had developed his own original style and was transferring the ideas of John Coltrane and other forward-thinking horn players to the organ. Elvin Jones, as a member of the Coltrane Quartet, proved to be a master at polyrhythms and of implying time without necessarily stating a steady beat. The combination of Green, Young and Jones resulted in remarkable music on this Lp, with "I'm An Old Cowhand," "You Don't Know What Love Is" and originals becoming fresh and new,  sounds that had never been heard before.
