Description
This is an amazing old rare soul album from my teenage years by a group
that used to play dances and clubs in our area quite frequently. They were
unusual in that most bands were three or four guys. These fellas were a full
house. And they usually played to a full house. Very popular at the time. The
band consisted of leader and vocalist Grant Smith; Jon Palma and Kenny
Marco, guitar; Michael Harrison, Bass; Wayne Stone, Drums; Brian Ayers and
Steve Kennedy on Sax; Ralph Miller on Trumpet; and Val Stevens and William
Smith on Organ. The LP was made in Canada by REBEL RECORDS on the
BOO label BST 6802, Stereo, 1967, and titled "KEEP ON RUNNING", which is
the first track. Labels and Vinyl are NM, the Cover is still in shrinkwrap, but
shows some slight wear at the opened side where the LP was opened. Cover
still rates VG++.
