The Grass Roots are a U.S. rock band that charted between 1966 and 1975 as the brainchild of songwriting duo P. F. Sloan and Steve Barri. In their career, The Grass Roots achieved one platinum album, two gold albums, one gold single and charted singles a total of 21 times. Among their charting singles, they achieved top ten 3 times, top twenty 3 times and top forty 8 times.
Between 1967 and 1972, The Grass Roots set a record for being on the Billboard charts for 307 straight weeks. They have sold over twenty million records worldwide.Let's Live for Today is the second studio album by The Grass Roots. Released in 1967, it features their first top-ten hit by the same name, " Let's Live for Today".

Original 1967 1st pressing on Dunhill Records. Not a re-issue, No barcode. This LP is STILL SEALED in it's original shrinkwrap. There is a small clean punch hole in the upper left corner. The bottom left corner shows some very minor wear, the shrink is tight, and there is no wear to the cover. A small piece of the shrink is missing, where a price sticker (?) was removed. This record has vibrant color on the front and the "white" back has no yellowing. A truly beautiful album. LP is in nearly MINT condition.
