ARTIST: GRATEFUL DEAD
TITLE: “ANTHEM OF THE SUN”
PRESSING: 1970 Second Pressing STEREO LP of the Dead’s second album
CATALOG #: Warner Bros. – Seven Arts Records WS 1749
LABELS: Super clean “Green” labels with “WB” logo at top.
Comments: Extremely SCARCE LP to locate in collectible condition.

COVER: NrMT-
Comments: Extremely clean “pastedown” cover displays bright vivid colors with the original shrink wrap intact. There is No Ring wear beneath the shrink, No seam splits or creases, No marks or writing, No cut out marks, and No discount holes or bar codes. Light wear in the upper and lower right corners are the only minor flaws and mentioned for accuracy.
VINYL: Side 1 NrMT Side 2 VG++
Comments: Full original gloss vinyl with only a few minor rubs and insignificant faint hairlines (No scratches) seen under bright light from sliding in and out of the original inner sleeve. There is an approximate 2 inch needle trail on side 2, which does not affect play, and is mentioned for accuracy. The vinyl plays beautifully throughout the recording!
INNER SLEEVE: Original and the correct inner sleeve used by Warner Brothers at the time of release of this LP, which advertises other selections from their catalog.
Comments: Nice copy of the Grateful Dead’s second release that featured Live performance staples “That’s It For The Other One” and “Alligator”.
I am very conservative with my grading. There is NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for multiple LPs won in the same auction cycle. NrMT- No scratches or spindle marks – may have a few light, inaudible hairlines seen under bright light from sliding in and out of the inner paper sleeve
VG+ No scratches, may have a spindle mark – light inaudible hairlines and/or paper scuffs will be present, which do not affect play or overall quality of the recording
VG May have a scratch deep enough to feel with a fingernail, but no skips – several hairlines and needle trails will be present which do not affect overall playprice rating
