Green Label Stereo Original 1st US pressing 1968 LABEL / LABELCODE MATRIX NUMBERS EXTRAS GRADING Warner Brother WB 1749 39369 WB1749A & 39370 B Matt Laminated Single Cover, OIS EX/M- DESCRIPTION 1968's groundbreaking Grateul Dead album. Live and studio recordings put together in a totally unique fashion, creating a breath-taking psychedelic tapestry. Featuring some of their most acidic material:- "That's It For The Other One", "New Potato Caboose", "Alligator" and "Caution (Do Not Stop On Tracks)", it still sounds fresh and exciting some 30+ years on. CONDITIONS RECORD: Visually both sides with only a few surface marks and hairlines, seen in critical 100W light! Has been only a few plays and must be therefore grade as EXCELLENT or better!! Both sides of this great album play with almost no clicks and pops. The sound quality of this classic vintage pressing-thick, heavyweight press is still full!! LABELS: LABELS: Both labels in unmarked NEAR MINT (M-) condition. COVER: Matt laminated single cover in pristine conditon!!! Rare in this condition because of the shrink! No creases. No tape. No splits. No writings, no stamps, no stickers. No spine and ring wear! Only a little edge wear on the opening side. The rear is unbelievable white and unmarked! This wonderful cover must be grade as NEAR MINT (M-)! Almost like new!!! SUMMARY A 'head' of its time & then some!
