Description

GRATEFUL DEAD    "AOXOMOXOA"        LP        Warner Bros  WS 1790

US Specialty Records Corporation (SRC) reissue, featuring the prized 1971 Bob Matthews / Betty Cantor remix.

The Dead's third studio album, featuring all original material ... with music by Jerry Garcia & Phil Lesh and lyrics by Robert Hunter.

Includes iconic songs "St. Stephen", "Dupree's Diamond Blues", "Mountains Of The Moon" and "China Cat Sunflower", which The Dead played in many a concert to follow.

The vintage of this pressing is verified by the matrix numbers hand etched in the dead wax:

Side 1:  WS-1-1790-RE2-JW3    1-1    0

Side 2:  WS-1790-B-RE2-SR1    1-1    11-48    TDP    SRC

Outstanding sound quality on this iconic LP.

Superb NM- wax PLAYS LIKE NEW.

Some very light, superficial paper scuffs / hairlines visible under bright light but have no discernible impact on sound quality.

Super high gloss remains.

Labels are clean, sharp and bright; look "like new".

Beautiful, clean jacket is NM-, flawed only by mere traces of rub wear.

Jacket front color artwork is clear and sharp, rich and bright.

Jacket back B&W photo and text are clear and sharp.

Solid seams and spine, essentially flawless.  No splits.

Spine print is crystal clear.

My Profile / Policies:

Note:  I've qualified for the "Top Rated Plus" seal from eBay, awarded to sellers who consistently deliver outstanding customer service.

Music is my passion.  I’ve been a collector for more than 50 years and have thousands of records in my personal collection, focused largely on 50’s and 60’s rock ‘n’ roll.  Recently retired, I look to downsize and sell select portions of my collection in hopes of financing future purchases of a few special pieces.

All records I offer are from my personal collection, each cleaned using my Spin Clean MKII record cleaning machine.

Wax is play graded (not just visually graded), employing Goldmine Price Guide standards.

As I take great care to accurately describe my items, I do not accept returns unless my item description is incorrect.

All records are packaged with the wax outside the jacket (to avoid seam split in transit), enclosed in a plastic sleeve and shipped in robust record mailer boxes via USPS Media Mail, tracking included.

International customers pay shipping costs and duties per the eBay Global Shipping Program guidelines.

Payment expected within 2 business days of sale.
