Description
Vintage psych rock lp: GRATEFUL DEAD - Dead Set - Arista Records, A2L 8606, released in 1981. Double-lp in gatefold jacket with the original inner sleeves, with "Masterphonics" stamped in the deadwax.
Condition is EX/VG (vinyl is glossy - side 2 is VG+ with some moderate scuffing and a couple of soft surface scratches and the other 3 sides are EX with only some minimal scuffs - plays EX with only a touch of minimal background to the 2nd side; one inner sleeve has a 2-inch split to bottom seam and a 6-inch split to one of the side seams, and both have some minor wrinkling; clean labels; jacket has moderate rubbing to corners and spine and edges, a few short wrinkles along the spine, and a bit of ringwear; someone wrote lots of lyrics on a piece of paper with the jacket cover beneath it, so it is indented all over the cover from the pressure of a ballpoint pen).
(Vintage Records, Vinyl, 33 rpm, Psych, Jerry Garcia, Rock, 1970's, Music, Memorabilia, Collectible).
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: All items are very well-packed for shipment and always include tracking numbers. Non-media items have the shipping cost noted in the auction, but we offer FREE SHIPPING TO U.S. CUSTOMERS ON ALL MEDIA ITEMS (AND SOMETIMES NON-MEDIA ITEMS) - that means that the item price includes your shipping costs - this free shipping applies to books & magazines (price includes $3-$5 media mail shipping), postcards, photos, booklets & pamphlets (price includes $1.50-$3, 1st class or media mail shipping), record albums (7"s/45s include $3.00 1st class shipping; 10" and LPs include $3-$5 media mail shipping), cassettes, reel tapes, and CDs (includes $2 to $4, 1st class or mm). REGARDING IMAGE QUALITY: Some of our older listings have images of poor quality; a few months ago Ebay changed their image size policies, and I was forced to automatically enlarge the images for all of last years' remaining items, which caused them to be grainy and blurry. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS - WE SHIP WORLDWIDE - please contact me prior to bidding so I can determine Airmail shipping rates for you. WE NEVER USE STOCK PHOTOS - all images are of actual items. WE ALMOST ALWAYS USE MULTIPLE IMAGES. We grade all items conservatively, and when grading record albums we follow the Goldmine Record Guide. Please see our other Ebay auctions for many used, odd, rare and collectible books and records, paper & ephemera, and more. Thank you!
