I am selling my copy of the Grateful Dead's ninth LP and third live LP titled Europe '72. It was released on Warner Brother in November 1972. This is a triple LP and proved very popular critically and commercially going double platinum. The LP was recorded during the band's April-May 1972 tour of Western Europe. Most of the songs were new. I picked my copy up shortly after it's release. I was a huge Dead fan. My copy is a first pressing. This can be easy figured out by the green label on the vinyl. The record was reissued by Warners the following year and the label was completely different. I grade the cover and the vinyl as very good plus. The vinyl has some blemishes and some very minor scratches but in general looks very good and plays very well. The cover looks pretty good but their are a few minor flaws. There a couple of very small tears in the spine (hard to see) and there is some tape in one spot. There are a few small yellow age spots on a mostly white cover. There is a very small label on the back in the upper left hand corner that contains my initials. A quarter inch x eighth inch. Also included are two of the three original inner sleeves featuring advertisements for other Warner products. Sleeves are in good condition. In place of the third missing sleeve I have included a generic white sleeve. Also included is an 8-page booklet containing photos of the many concert sites and the band. The album opens out into a tri-fold. The triple LP has been stored in an air conditioned non-smoking environment all this time.
