Description

Vintage 3-LP live concert recording: GRATEFUL DEAD - Farewell to Winterland, New Year's Eve, Dec. 31 1978; Slipped Disc Records, LAX 1698/SX-TT 979. From the back cover: "The first Bill Graham Show at Winterland Ballroom was Nov 6 & 7, 1965, an "Appeal" Party for the San Francisco Mime Troop featuring the Jefferson Airplane. The first Dead Show at Winterland was Oct 21 & 22, 1966 beginning a 12-year history of incredible live shows which ended on New Years Eve 1978-1979 with this unforgettable show." Side 1: New Years; Sugar Magnolia; Me & My Uncle; Big River. Side 2: Friend of the Devil; It's All Over Now; From the Heart of Me; Sunshine Daydream. Side 3: I Need a Miracle; Terrapin Station. Side 4: Not Fade Away; 'Round & 'Round. Side 5: Dark Star; The Other One; Dark Star. Side 6: Good Lovin'; Case Jones; Johnny B. Goode".

Condition: VG+/VG- (vinyl is VG+ overall, minor scuffing, a few areas with heavier scuffing or soft surface scratches which I can't feel, but side 5 has a mark or burn near the end of the side which causes noise, and the edge of that record has a shallow edge chip that doesn't affect the lead-in; clean labels; jacket has two 1.5-inch splits to bottom seam, heavy edge and corner rubbing, some wrinkles and minor ringwear).

(Vintage Records, Vinyl, Music, Psychedelic, Rock, Jerry Garcia, 1970's, Collectable, Souvenir, Memorabilia)
