Great Books Of The Western World 54 Vol Britannica 1952. This auction is for an original 1952 set of Encyclopedia Britannica's "Great Books of the Western World" in fifty-four volumes. This wonderful collection includes works by the world's greatest philosophers, thinkers, authors, and scientists. The books have tan colored hardcovers with different color spines by category. The books are in Great condition. Mint to Near mint. Minor scuffing on a few volumes. Hard to show in the pictures because they are small. No water damage and all the bindings are tight. I bought these from the original owner. She said she never read all of them. Most of them have never been opened. This auction has no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win.
